# Competitive Edge

What Makes DoSui Different?

DoSui builds upon the ve(3,3) DEX model, which has been seeing tremendous traction as of late. To differentiate our platform from the rest, we have made some core changes that enhance the experience for our users and provide comfort to risk-averse participants.

**Expert Risk Management:**\
The DoSui team inherits an obsessive commitment to security and risk management, stemming from the overwhelming experience and involvement within the Solidly ecosystem from its genesis.

DoSui has the benefit of deep knowledge regarding existing exploits, vulnerabilities, and architectural flaws within the commonly forked ve(3,3) codebases. As new problems arise from the underlying system, the DoSui team has focused on mitigating them in a methodical approach.

More information surrounding the existing flaws and steps DoSui has taken towards alleviating them will be shared in an authored post by The DoSui team within the near future.

**User Focused, Not Competitor Focused:**\
A common mistake, in our eyes, that we see within the industry is that projects feel the need to obsessively display dominance over their peer protocols; instead of working together to bring a better experience to the overall ecosystem.

The DoSui team flips this narrative on its head. We strive to help everyone, even if it so happens to be a competitor, as we believe that working together is a net positive for the communities and bolsters a common goal. This Idea is adapted from the highly successful methodology that Bezos' Amazon employed-- being consumer driven, not competitor driven. The more effort you put towards making sure your users are happy and treated well, the success of the project will come along naturally.

**Novel Changes & Codebase Restructuring**\
Our V1 iteration builds upon the foundation of SolidlyV1 and Velodrome's tweaks to the system-- furthering it by reconstructing several core contracts from the ground-up, removing any resident exploits and attack vectors. The DoSui team spent many hours meticulously determining the flaws and faults of the overarching system, through experience and learning from our peers in the space.

Users of DoSui can comfortably interact knowing that we are constantly at-alert to find any potential issues, and will remediate them with haste if required. As mentioned earlier, The DoSui team is obsessed with security, and has information security experience in DeFi -- some existing from other Layer 1 blockchain security contributors.
