# Contract Timelock

To provide further comfort while we are in the beginning stages of the project, we will implement a timelock mechanism for any and all proxies necessary. The benefits of a timelock are that the proposer cannot execute a transaction to upgrade or modify the contracts until the sufficient timelock period has passed. This is especially helpful to provide a sense of security to the users and protocols of the DoSui platform.

Any proposed calls to the timelock will be broadcast to the community in a transparent fashion, to ensure a proper notification of change prior to its implementation. 

 is used to provide automated notifications in the discord.

The DoSui team will also routinely provide updates and information to the community with regards to future upgrades, code changes, and any feature implementations in the horizon.
