# Inherited Security

The codebase went through a partial (only the AMM part was sent for audit) security audit . The audit was done by PeckShield.

The full audit is available for download from the Solidly git repository. 

Velodrome Finance (inherited code base) then went through a security audit and a peer review as part of the Code4rena bug bounty contest. And finally, a full MythX deep scan was completed on Velodrome contracts.

Velodrome Finance ran a bug bounty contest on to of with awards up to $75,000 on Code4rena.  The main scope of the contest was to cover all the new changes to the new and the original contracts.

The DoSui team has been at the core of this primitive since it was launched over a year ago and has contributed to many of the improvements and added security over the last year.

Audits are running a fine line of marketing being the primary benefit versus true security. We have both. Some brand name audits + year+ without exploits AND a team with reasonably the deepest knowledge of the codebase, of any team operating today.
